Timed public deliberation and verifiable voting for institutions, engineered by CPT Software.
PublicVoting is a suite for clubs, boards, unions, councils, and other public-interest bodies. Officers run membership and process. Voters cast a ballot only from their own device. The decision record is an append-only public log, not a promise stored in a private database.
The work is split the way the trust is split. A protocol repository holds the OpenAPI description, the procedure packs, and the Mode B cryptographic suite with published test vectors. A Go API and Postgres hold the running system and the hash chain. A React console is the officer portal, and it cannot cast a vote. The voter side is a Dart stack: device cryptography and a cast tool, with a Flutter wallet screen still planned rather than shipped.
A few rules are treated as non-negotiable. Admins cannot assign privileged roles to themselves. Branding and procedure packs can change how a club or a council conducts a decision. They cannot weaken the cast. The code is Apache-2.0. The name and the logos are a separate trademark, so an institution can brand its own process without taking the PublicVoting mark.
Around the software there is a public website, guides for officers, voters, and observers, a security model, a printable brief, a demo, and an optional hosted lease. The commissioner is publicgovernent.org, whose own site is launching separately. CPT Software did the product engineering and can operate a hosted instance.
