The work
Theatology
Ticketing, cinema, and festival operations for a venue, with the accounts kept in the group ERP.
Theatology is for an independent theatre, a cinema, or a film festival that wants one system instead of a handful. The public side is a tenant’s own site, on a theatology.com address or on a domain they bring. The work behind it covers productions and performances, allocated seats and general admission, price bands, gift vouchers, memberships, checkout, and a touch-friendly box office.
Cinema operations cover screens, screenings, and the digital-cinema files and keys. Festival operations cover submissions, jury scores, awards, guests, and delegates. There is a scanner path for the door, shifts, and a kitchen preorder path. A tenant can turn modules off, so a single-room theatre is not shown a festival jury.
Commercial events are sent to the CPT ERP, which remains the ledger. Holds on seats stay in Theatology, because that is the part that has to answer during an onsale. The platform also includes a public API with keys and rate limits, webhooks, and a route for a person to ask for their data or for it to be erased.
