The work
Pocket Physics
A physics lab on the phone: the sensors you already have, graphed, recorded, and exported.
Pocket Physics opens on four benches, all available. Mechanics graphs the accelerometer, linear acceleration, gyroscope, and magnetometer. Acoustics is a microphone spectrum, a tone generator, a standing-wave pipe, a Doppler exercise, and a resonance calculator. Electromagnetism uses the phone’s magnetometer as a Hall probe, with tare, max hold, and units, plus a bench you tap for a field map, an induction estimate from numbers you type, a compass, and a simple metal-detector view. Optics and thermodynamics cover illuminance, a colour sample from the camera, and a barometer with a pressure altitude.
Recording writes an RFC 4180 CSV per channel, plus a small session file, and hands it to the share sheet. The app is Flutter, for Android and iOS. It is a phone, not a calibrated laboratory. The magnetometer clips at a few millitesla. Colour is not a spectrometer. Lux and pressure depend on the device. There is no store listing in the project.
