Cloud Player

A music player for a folder you nominate. It sends nothing anywhere.

Cloud Player reads a folder you nominate and plays what is in it. It holds no account, stores no password, and sends nothing anywhere. On Android it reaches storage through the system folder picker, so the same build reads Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or an SD card without the app touching a credential.

It lists MP3, FLAC, M4A, AAC, OGG, Opus, and WAV, and reads artist, album, title, year, and cover art from the files. Tags are read from a bounded prefix, so a large cloud library does not have to be downloaded to be browsed. Before a tag is read, the folder layout is enough. There is a queue, shuffle, repeat, named playlists on the device, a per-track copy into the phone’s Music/Cloud Player folder, and a ten-band equaliser. Background playback can be switched off.
