Parliament Companion

The day’s parliamentary agenda, members, screens, bills, and a local Erskine May.

Parliament Companion is an Android app for the public business of the UK Parliament: the day’s agenda, current members, annunciator screens, bills and statutory instruments, and a local copy of Erskine May. This is not an official House of Commons or House of Lords app, and it is not advice. The phone does not call parliament.uk. An archive reads the public Parliament feeds, and the phone reads that archive.

The phone saves each screen on the London day it is first read. Opening the app again that day uses the saved copy. Erskine May is installed in the app and can be read with no connection. Members are the current membership, with party and constituency, and without photographs. Records older than a year are dropped. Dates published without a timezone are London calendar days.
