The work
Earth Circuit
A week of global weather on a globe, drawn as the Earth’s atmospheric electric circuit.
Earth Circuit is an Android globe. You drag, pinch, and play through about seven days of three-hourly frames. Rising columns mark closed lows, where convective weather can carry current upward. Descending columns mark closed highs and the fair-weather return. Layers add clouds, rain, pressure, wind paths, atmospheric shells, and fault lines. The phone remembers the layers and the view.
Weather is a published file from an archive at earth.apps.cpt-software.com, built from Open-Meteo and the NCEP GFS model, over NASA’s Blue Marble. The columns, the labels, and the fair-weather gradient are a picture and an order-of-magnitude estimate. The app says they are not measured amperes. Fault notes cite published comparisons. They are not a forecast for the line you tapped. There is no store listing in the project.
